well, where do we go from here? is reflexive, gut-guided means of interrogating the American scapes — both social and physical — of Austin, Texas and the greater Southwest region of the USA through ethnographical photography. In these images I’m considering the glaring historical and contemporary racism of most familiar spaces of San Marcos, Texas and Austin, Texas which only became known to me as an adult. In this work I look for sense or meaning in the American imaginaries that surround me. well, where do we go from here? is a work in progress which loosely began in 2018.
